PGL was set up in 1990, at a time when outsourcing was relatively new to the oil & gas industry. The company is dedicated to producing world class production geoscience, in recognition of the pivotal role this plays in enhancing the technological and commercial prospects of petroleum production.

Our core business is integrated reservoir evaluation. We also specialise in log analysis, seismic interpretation, seismic inversion and modelling, 3D geological modelling, reservoir/petroleum engineering, software development, data loading and database administration.

The company incorporates a highly-qualified and experienced team of geologists, geophysicists, petrophysicists, reservoir & petroleum engineers, software developers and support staff. Working as individual consultants or in integrated teams, PGL staff use their experience and expertise to make an informed and commercially-focused contribution to clients’ subsurface reservoir studies.

At the heart of our core product is the combination of technological expertise and cognizance of practical commercial issues.

In July 2007, PGL merged with Senergy Ltd, meaning that we can offer an even wider range of integrated consultancy services for subsurface, well engineering and production & performance enhancement.

The company has invested heavily to bring our clients the benefits of leading-edge software and technology. Not only do we use standard industry software, but also our own in-house developed PC-based software systems, ODM3™ and IP™.
